Next week is International Data Protection Week and events are being held across the nation to mark it. XQ Cyber is going to be in Jersey to talk about Cyber Essentials and the award-winning CyberScore.
The Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner is collaborating with a wide range of speakers to host a series of free events aimed at informing businesses, consumers, charities and organisations of all sizes about the importance of data protection.
With the State of Jersey announcing last year that suppliers awarded a government contract worth more than £25,000 will have to commit to attaining at least a Cyber Essentials certification.
To that end, XQ Cyber will be delivering a talk about Cyber Essentials and how CyberScore™ can make the certification process quicker and cheaper. The event will be held on Wednesday, January 30th and held at the Skills Zone Digital Jersey Hub.

Monitoring your cybersecurity is often seen as an annual – and expensive – box-ticking exercise, led by manual penetration testing. But with cyber threats constantly changing, ongoing monitoring is now a necessity in order to keep your business secure. Automated testing allows for just that – and it doesn’t break the bank.
CyberScore™ is an award-winning automated security testing service that provides full reports of your cybersecurity posture, including Get Well Plans and full Technical Reports to show you exactly where the key vulnerabilities lie, and exactly what you need to do in order to remedy them.
XQ Cyber also offers a range of incident response and consultancy services such as Penetration Testing, Cyber Posture Assessments and Incident Response preparedness and testing.
