DevOps Engineer

Our CyberScore™ team is passionate about opening a new space in the cyber security market and bringing forward a disruptive and deeply credible technology product.  They are driven to enable organisations of all size and type to uplift their cyber security management and deploy ground-breaking technology to rapidly, repeatedly and reliably manage their security posture.

We’re now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us and enable the efficient delivery of a portfolio of unique software products tackling cyber security and online safety.

Key responsibilities and results areas:

  • Working with interesting and emerging technologies
  • Finding innovative, flexible and scalable solutions to challenging problems
  • Managing a modern Continuous Integration system
  • Taking an active part in making sure we follow the 12-factor app principles
  • Writing clean, maintainable configuration as code
  • Helping deliver secure, bug-free software

Reporting to: Development Manager

Responsible for: No direct reports

Education or characteristics required for the job:


  • Positive attitude
  • A burning passion for technology and building software systems
  • An ability to think for yourself
  • An ability to work in a highly-communicative and driven team


  • Software development related degree

Experience required for the job:


  • Linux and Docker
  • Command line and scripting, eg Bash
  • Git
  • Agile development, especially Scrum
  • Jenkins or similar CI
  • Modern frameworks (preferably Laravel 5+)
  • The 12-factor app
  • Comfortable with devops ideas
  • Unit testing, PHPUnit


  • JIRA
  • Configuration management, eg Salt, Ansible, etc
  • PHP
  • S3
  • MySQL
  • Elasticsearch
  • Python
